The Yukon River Panel 2026 Pre-Season Meeting will take place in-person in Alaska (location TBD) between Monday, April 13 and Thursday, April 16, 2026.

The Yukon River Panel is seeking a qualified service provider to support the development of a rebuilding plan for the Yukon River mainstem Chinook salmon. This vital initiative follows an agreement signed on April 1, 2024, between Fisheries and Oceans Canada and the Alaska Department of Fish and Game. The selected provider will engage with the Panel, facilitating meetings, establishing timelines, and documenting the process.

Members of the public are invited to attend the Public Sessions which will be held on Wednesday, April 10 and Thursday, April 11 at the Marriott Anchorage Downtown Hotel (with the opportunity to provide testimony occurring on these days). To provide the opportunity to view the meetings virtually, the Public Sessions will be live-streamed.
